EA. Offering a high degree of control, this Aputure Spotlight Mount Set with 36° Lens is a versatile light modifier with an included 36° lens for producing a dramatic yet clean beam of light. Featuring a Bowens mount, this modifier can be easily attached to a variety of lights, including the Light Storm LC 120d II, 120D, and 300D, and its integrated yoke has a dual junior/baby mount for attaching to anything from a C-stand to a lighting grid. The Spotlight’s design incorporates a dual drop-in slot, which can accept the included B-size gobo holder, included gel holder, or an optional adjustable iris for further control over the shape and size of the light beam. Like a conventional ellipsoidal light, too, the lens can be easily swapped in order to achieve a different beam angle. The Spotlight Mount has a durable aluminum alloy housing and this kit is delivered in a hard travel case to protect the housing, lens, and accessories during transport.

In addition to allowing the 120d II to produce 10 times its original output, the high-resolution lenses produce an even beam of light, with minimal light falloff on the edges, while maintaining a shift in color temperature of less than 200 degrees Kelvin.
The Spotlight Mount’s new lens technology minimizes chromatic aberrations around the edge of the illumination circle. Compared to similar ellipsoidal fixtures, the Spotlight Mount significantly decreases its edge color fringing to a mere 1mm.
The Spotlight Mount also offers simple user-interchangeability between Aputure’s 19°, 26°, and 36° lenses. Combined with the internal shutters, filmmakers will be able to gain more control of the shape of their light. With the included B-size Gobos, Gobo Holder, and gel frame the Spotlight Mount allows for even further light manipulation, to easily project any shape or color you can think of.
